The Koala is one of the most endangered species in Australia.

The name Koala is an aborigine word that means no drink! When a Koala does the toilet it smells like tree tea oil. So you can smell them before you see them. The Koala is mostly found in East Australia but mainly in the South East. Male Koalas are larger than female Koalas. They have a grey soft furred coat, with a white chest. A flat nose and big ears, and clawed feet for climbing. The Koala is only active for about 2 hours of the day. They have a grey soft furred coat, with a white chest. Here is a bit about the wombat from Jamie D

Wombats are stout, sturdy marsupials. They grow to about 1.3 metres in length, and can weigh up to 36 kg. They have a large, blunt head with small eyes and ears, and a short, muscular neck. Their sharp claws and stubby, powerful legs make them great diggers. Wombats have been known to live for up to 27 years in captivity.wombat.jpg
